Day 84: Your calling is everywhere you find yourself in. Find it!

Are you doing something you did not anticipate or foresee yourself in, like doing a job you did not hope for. Like they say, life happens, a research by UK universities notes that about one in three graduates end up being “mismatched” to the jobs they find after leaving university. What do you do when you find yourself in such a situation? Spending your day doing what you feel you were never called for?

The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

John 1:5

Let me ask you, are you courageous enough to find your calling at your current job?

If you wanted to be a medical doctor like I wanted to be, can you be brave enough to stand up and say, ‘ I wanted to be a medical doctor because I love to help people, and here I am working at a supermarket store. Hey, I still can help people, I may not save lives in the hospital but I take care of my customers the best way I know how.

Even though your current job does not look like you thought it would, look around your life and find ways how you can fulfill your calling, your calling could be hanging around whatever you are doing. Just an ounce of courage, you will be closer and closer.

No matter what you are doing, I want you to know that God truly believes in you. In all the unique ways He has made you, He believes in all the dream burning inside of you and on the smallest hope you are holding on to.

Be brave, find your calling in whatever you are doing now. You can find it.
